New Design - New Features The site has been given a much needed face-lift - we hope you like it! But it's not all about face. Soon you will have the ability to register and log in, post messages to the forums and to other users, share your travel-related opinions and experiences, post classifieds, submit new places and events. We hope this will enable the iGuide user community to interact directly with the iGuide team and with each other. The wait is almost over!

New Maps! Check out our new high resolution translated maps of Diqing, Nujiang, Xishuangbanna and Yuxi prefectures. There's more coming, so if your destination isn't covered yet, check back soon.

New Destinations! New information on Tiger Leaping Gorge Town, Tiger Leaping Gorge, Haba, Baishuitai, Zhongdian, Deqin and Weixi.

Other recent additions include Nujiang (the upper Salween) at Liuku, Bingzhongluo and Dimaluo, plus the upper Mekong at Yunling, Yanmen, Badi, and Yezhi. Also new: two historic centers on the southern silk road, Baoshan and Tengchong, plus a seperate section on Xiaguan (New Dali). All of these destinations are accessible by bus from Dali. Also added are Lancang, Menglian, Mengma and Menga, part of the former Dai kingdom and final few stops on a road to Burma in far southwest Simao prefecture.

Expanded Information Now with over five hundred listings, iGuide is the only site with serious info on attractions, accomodation, and transport links throughout Yunnan. We've recently enhanced our content for Dali, Jinghong, Kunming, Menghai.

PDF Downloads The PDF travel guide system is still in beta and will be launched just as soon as we get Chinese support working.
